SMS Privacy Policy
Checkpoint SMS privacy
This privacy policy covers the Checkpoint SMS program operated by Secret Soup Company. It applies only to text messages exchanged with the Checkpoint phone number.
What we collect
When a participant texts Checkpoint, we may collect the participant's phone number, message content, message timestamps, delivery metadata, and which Checkpoint object or sticker initiated the thread when that information is available.
How we use it
We use this information only to operate the Checkpoint project: to send relevant replies, preserve conversation context, support project operations, and keep internal records of participation.
What we do not do
We do not sell phone numbers or message content. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not use Checkpoint message data for advertising profiling.
Service providers
We may use third-party service providers to deliver SMS, store message records, and support program operations. Those providers process information only as needed to operate the project.
Opting out
Participants can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. We may retain the phone number and opt-out record only as needed to make sure that participant is not contacted again.
